A new ashtrate from Ikea aims to save the lives of people who are often left to suffer the consequences of their own careless handling of the metal containers.
Ikea’s new ash trays are made of stainless steel and feature a watertight seal, and can be used in fire extinguishers.
The company is offering these trays to customers to help them prevent fires and save lives.
Fire extinguishers and other items can cause a fire to spread and damage furniture, including the ashtrades.
It is not the first time Ikea has offered this product.
In 2014, the company began offering ashtras to help firefighters fight fires in its stores, as well as to save lives during emergencies.
As a result, customers are now using the trays in their own homes, as they do in other countries.

“It is a lifesaver in the fight against fire, and we are very proud to be able to offer it to customers,” Ikea CEO Anders Tjellström said.
Tjellstrup added that this new product is a collaboration between Ikea and Swedish engineering company, Dassault, and the Swedish Ministry of Defence.
Dassault is the maker of the famous Euler and other fire extinguishing systems used in military and law enforcement agencies around the world.
